Association for Implementing Democracy

The Association for Implementing Democracy is a Romanian non-governmental organization whose main purpose is to contribute to the development of democracy in Romania by promoting democratic values, strengthening the democratic institutions and supporting a new generation of leaders. 

All our projects and activities developed by this organization start with the citizens' needs and address systemic problems such as: political accountability, leadership based on values in Romania, citizen participation in decision-making processes. 

An important part of AID vision is dedicated to the support and improvement of our country's leadership. AID considers important having a new, visionary class of leaders in the fields of politics, business, NGO, public administration, etc. In all AID programs the association seeks to support leaders that share moral and ethical values, and have a vision of their work in the benefit of the citizens.
